Hi there,

Sorry if this is in the wrong location but im struggling to add tax to my virtuemart I have verson 2.0.6 (cannot update for some reason) and latest Joomla version.

I live in New Zealand and we have GST of 15% if someone could run through the correct settings for me that would be amazing as Ive been tring for sometime now

hi callum,

I'm australian - On our stores we just write that GST is included and set the final price - As our law states that GST must be included then ( for us Aus) it is up to my accountatnt and the tax man how much we pay. The customer is not really interested. Unless you wish to track - initial cost against profit - in 2.0.8 versions you can set a final price an it will calculate cost for you.

The update of VM - you need to expand the version - upload it by ftp to your server in the public folder - then install it from there.

I also tried to do what you said regarding updating and uploading to ftp. but the error i get is Unable to find install package.
