I hope someone can help as template monster are slow to respond!
I bought a new joomla template, it say's 1.5 but I installed the latest version assuming it would be backward compatible?
Anyway, I successfully installed the template into joomla and also installed virtuemart - latest version, through the joomla admin panel.
In virtuemart, i have set the default template to the new theme.
In Joomla, I also set the defaul template to the new theme.
In joola, clicking view site, which is supposed to take you to your new website, it gives a server 500 error and in virtuemart, it doesn't show any products.
I haven't used joomla before so i really need some help in figuring out what i need to do to get this working - I haven't even started editing the pages yet!
Can someone help?
so which joomla version do you have?
try a different template - for example beez and see if it works, if it does than the template that you are using now is of no use to you. and FYI - normaly templates for Joomla 1.5 are NOT compatible with Joomla 2.5.
