If you want to be taken seriously, show us what you've configured for Pricing, Shopper Groups, Products, Taxes, something...
The most obvious answer is because you're not displaying any prices. I don't suppose you've checked the "Use only as catalogue" check box in Configuration/Configuration/Shop, in which case prices won't show...
Tell us what you're doing and what your objective is and maybe we can help.
