On my server this upgrade does'nt work with this errors:
Upgrading AIO
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Invalid package type. The update can not proceed.
Upgrading VM
Unable to open archive
Extracting the update package failed. Please try updating the extension manually.
How can i fix my server to permit Live Update ?
Why VM does'nt use standard Joomla Extension Update system ?
Is this 2.0.8c recommended update ? i've seen many forum posts about problems after this update... :(
another one thing: i see "Latest release date 1999-11-30" so old ??? :)

You should use Joomla's extension installer. If you have a well set up server then the targz.zip files should install OK. If your host has left upload_max_filesize in php.ini at the default 2M then the .zip files are likely to be too big (both over 2Mb) to install without first increasing that limit.
It may be worth waiting a day or so for 2.0.8d
