I have just updated the website to latest version of VM2.0.8b and SEO on the product level seems to be broken.
Is anyone experiencing this type of problem with VM SEO Enabled.
The problem seems to be only related to the product pages.
cache has alreay been flushed.
EDIT the problem seems to be in the way the link to the product page is generated \components\com_virtuemart\views\category\tmpl\default.php
Basically, with SEO enabled the link to the product becomes http://www.mysite.com/component/virtuemart/product- instead of http://www.mysite.com/JoomlaMenuLink/VMcategory/product
confirmed on VM2.0.8b and c
Still works for me. Did you change anything else that might produce a conflict?

Hi jjk,
It's very strange and I cannot explain what's wrong.
I haven't changed anything, I use VM as catalog only for now.
I have sliglty changed the layout of the category and productview however the problem is still there evern if i remove the VM folder from my temaplate.
I'll try and upload /overwrite all Virtuemart files as this is the only think that i can think of.
SEO it's not working for me with J2.5 last and VM 2.0.8 last version too... :-/
I am having the same problem, and understand the explanation given by the TS in his EDIT.
How would we fix it, though?
Hello all,
SEO is working fine for me also. May be there is an issue with your joomla menu system, for example
VM Frontpage
--> VM category1
--> VM category2
--> VMC2.product1
--> VMC2.product2
could you please check on that
may be i am wrong that you can check it.
Also please give a try to version 2.0.8e
I might have found a fix, posted here:
