I have spent all weekend trying to get my head around the various child product options and I am almost done!
The only problem I am facing is that I need to stop the parent product from being able to be added to the cart.
I know that it is possible to hack the core code to say - please select etc... but I want the first child product to be added to the cart automatically instead.
I have searched the forum and read loads of threads but no-one seems to have come up with a solution yet!
Did you find a solution. I just asked a very similar question.
