my employer bought your plugin Shipment for Virtual Products and I am now trying to configure and test it and whatever I do, I do not receive the download link in the confirmation email.
I followed every step of your tutorial in detail ( http://extensions.virtuemart.net/all-tutorials/9-custom-fields/9-shipment-for-virtual-products (http://extensions.virtuemart.net/all-tutorials/9-custom-fields/9-shipment-for-virtual-products) ) but in the email I receive there is only a link to "view your order line" where is just all the information and link to the product where I see the filename and my description that it will be possible to download after the payment.
Isn't the problem in the Shipment method? Because in the email under "Ship to" I still see the random address data I had to enter because the shipment method required it. I am not able to chose Shipment method from the list (in administration for creating another shipment method) other then "VM - Shipment, By weight, ZIP and countries". This seems strange to me.
OK, I found the problem. It was version of VirtueMart component - we were using 3.07 unstable. However it is not possible to install 3.06 stable once there was a newer version installed. Even if I uninstalled everything and manually deleted all VM related files from the server, I kept getting errors during the install attempt. But thankfully I found that in the meantime there is newer 3.07 unstable version (letter "j") and in this one it is working.
