I've only virtual (downloadable) products so I don't need any shipping address information, I've tried to remove it from the order using several parms but I can't find any way to get rid of it.
I'm using the virtual product plugin and defined a shipment method I called "Download" which is automatically selected (otherwise I got a message saying that no shipping method has been selected).
How could I remove the shipping address information ?

I know its been a while, but just saw your post while I was looking for the same answer. Seems this should be obvious - you don't need an address if its a download. I found a hack that does it at another site:
