It's my understanding that using payment processors like Paypal, 2checkout, etc. are more secure than just running credit cards through your own site - I am assuming this is the case though one would have to use an SSL cert. Do you know if there are other security protocols that would have to be implemented with virtuemart if it was run in conjunction with a payment processor like paypal, rather than just on one's own site with an SSL cert.
I guess my bottom line question is what, if any, other security measures would have to be implemented to run virtuemart with a paypal type processor.
