Good morning everybody,

I have installed joomla 2.5, virtuemart 2.0.6 for a bilingual website (french and english).
The site is well-configured to work in both languages.
I have one problem. My categories and my item descritpions are not translated.
How can I do that?
Is there a plugin, module, component to add with? I have seen post talking about joomfish. But there is no release at the moment.

There is no need for Joomfish or something similar to set up a multilingual VM2 shop. I have one using Joomla 2.5.4 and VM 2.0.7d (actually a SVN version) and 500+ products in english/german.

Thank you for your answer.

I have tested the solution you gave and everything works perfectly.

I had forgot to select in the Virtuemart configuration both langages English and french that's why I could'nt swith from one language to the other.
