Title: Error: Choose media type for media with filename Error
Post by: ereallstaff on June 07, 2012, 15:57:17 PM
Hello someone may help please about what does generate the following error ?

" Choose media type for media with filename  " filename picture "

I have this problem after migrating to all picture of products, and correcting them manually is a nightmare.

If I go to "media"  section and I save without changing anithing it's fixed, so I suppose is something wrong with a value in DB , but I can't find any difference among rows corrected and row error, inside the #__media table

is that a particular column of any other table?

Thanks

After changing the capital P from product to lowercase, the problem was solved!

Just discovered to have exactly same problem on my newest VM3 and J3 installation site...

Searched forum but appears this is the only topic ever opened on this issue, anybody knows anything about this strange error?

When checking in Media Files by opening and closing the image is already solving the issue, maybe there could be a small script to automate/repair this by running whatever sequence is executed while saving the record? Any help?

TIA

I get the same thing. After naming the media files with the sku, there`s a warning message in yellow.
