Title: problems with UPS pluging XML well formed but not valid??
Post by: dragonita on May 25, 2012, 00:13:48 AM
Joomla 1.7.4
VM 2.0.6
plgvm_istraxx_shipment_ups_1.0.6

I  bought this pluging and my shop has 3 languages. Default one is spanish. My client has a userId for UPS, we have the password, the key... and I thinks everything else is setup nicely. All products for sale have measurements and weight. It would help a lot a better explained tutorial as well.
But the ups does not show up in the shipping methods.... I tet everything my imagination give me... and not results.
On debug I got this errs:

[...]
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<RatingServiceSelectionResponse><Response><ResponseStatusCode>0</ResponseStatusCode><ResponseStatusDescription>Failure</ResponseStatusDescription><Error><ErrorSeverity>Hard</ErrorSeverity><ErrorCode>10002</ErrorCode><ErrorDescription>The XML document is well formed but the document is not valid</ErrorDescription></Error></Response></RatingServiceSelectionResponse>
[...]
Cannot select UPS shipment
Info : The XML document is well formed but the document is not valid

Please HELP!!!!!! My client is spanish, and so do I, and from ups techonolgy department we´ve been told this should work in spain as well.... Is it a problem with setup or maybe because of the country??

HELP ASAP!! our date on air should be monday 28/05/2012
Thanks!

I found it!! The issue was because the address for the shop was not completed. In order to work this pluging you must have a origin address.... Of course!!!!
Ok time to rest now :)
