Set up all my categories in the Virtuemart back end. All good!
Then I refresh my page to see my nice sidebar with all the parent categories and their children categories. All good!
What's this Virtuemart has made a copy of all my categories and decided to plaster them right on my front page extending my site an extra 1000+ pixels or so. Great..
Looking for fixes on the net, came to find some that edit the php etc. But my set up says im not permitted to edit it. Hate permissions.
Wish Virtuemart would include some more settings to fix this in the back end instead of editing the php file.
I presume ill call my hosting service and ask them to change the perms if they can with their 'access all areas'.
Anyone know of any other fixes for this issue?
Image attached showing off the beautiful categories taking up all my sites content areas.

I am having the same issue with VM2.0 ... did you happen to find a way to remove the auto-installed categories off the front page?
Thanks!
