Hi, I have a site i've developed and the cart "was" working fine, but for some reason has stopped.
When i click on "add to cart" on a product nothing happens. But firebug shows me this upon clicking:
402 Payment Required
"NetworkError: 402 Payment Required - http://test.debsnaturalskincare.com.au/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&nosef=1&view=cart&task=addJS&format=json&quantity%255B%255D%3D1%26option%3Dcom_virtuemart%26view%3Dcart%26virtuemart_product_id%255B%255D%3D1%26virtuemart_manufacturer_id%3D1%26virtuemart_category_id%255B%255D%3D1&_=1337513318308"
I have searched here and have had no luck. I've tried all options with the jquery options inside the shop / template config and have tried installing jquery integrator to see if that helps - no change (have since disabled that).

I have tried installing 2.0.6 but my joomla install only shows a white screen when i try and update, which I believe might be a whole other issue.
Please help! I'm at the end of my wits and close to losing my mind!
VirtueMart 2.0.0 did not work properly in Joomla 2.5 - VM2.0.2 was the first J2.5 compatible version, so if you cannot go to 2.0.6 then maybe try 2.0.4

how did you try installing? through extension manager? live update?
Sorry for the delay guys, i've been out of town the last few days.
I have been trying to update my virtuemart, but my Joomla install isn't allowing me to update it. Every time I try I get a blank page and firebug tells me this message:
NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error
I can install some modules, so it's not a blanket inability to update or upgrade extensions. I want to update to 2.06 but can't get it to work. If i can get it to update I think it might be ok.

Yes, i was trying a different cart after the fact. I have since removed hikashop as REALLY want to use virtuemart since in my experience, it's by far the best available.
