Is there any possibility to customize the output of search results?
By default, search results shows both parent and child items - this is not very useful for our customers. I want to filter out the childs, so only the parents are shown...

This looks not to be a solution for me.
I´m using VM 2.0.6 on Joomla 2.5.4.

just to note that is does say it is for the versions you are using - "
It works with VM2 and Joomla 1.7,2.5 and is like the ebay and amazon filtering applications. Creating pages with clear sef URLs after any search."
Sorry if I missunderstood your reply - and it is not the software type that you wished for .

Thanks for trying to help.
As I can see, "custom filters" is able to filter categories, manufacturers a.s.o., but I want to prefilter on parent products...
Problem still exists (VM 2.0.6): search results displays also child products, which is not ok.
Any ideas?
