I've finally managed to get my VM migrated over from both the earlier version & also on to Joomla 2.5. And as I didn't need to do this prior, I've no idea if the problem has arisen from the migration. Basically while all other options work fine in VM, when I select "New" for setting up a new payment type or shipping option, it breaks my template leaving me with a text only version. This happens to all templates so doubtful to be a template issue.
I only migrated in the specific keys I gathered the migrator would work with so didn't include the shipping or payment keys.
To clarify - I'm using VM 2.0.0 and Joomla 2.5.4. Anyone any ideas on what the likely cause of such a glitch might be or a means of overcoming it?

2.0.0 is old and was buggy in Joomla 2.5 - try upgrading to VM2.0.6 using Joomla's extensions installer, not the auto-updater.

Might have to do a manual patch to update it though as neither update method in Joomla works for me - the VM one has errors while the Joomla one says there's no updates for some odd reason.
No problem - hopefully getting it updated will sort me out. Will let you know.

Just download the package, unzip to give the two components and install them with the extensions manager just like with a new component.
YO - success :)). Apologies I didn't stop to think it possible that the update might sort me out as I've had similar problems in other extensions that updates just never made a dent on.
Truly appreciate you taking the time to point me in the right direction for an easy fix :)) (Plus you've educated me on some of the new aspects of J2.5 which I'm still trying to get to grips with :) )
