Hello Everyone,
I would appreciate some help. I am using Joomla 2.5.2 with Virtumart 2.0.2
I built a T-shirt website and all is working perfectly while the Joomla system is off-line. I went to put the system on line to find that my products don't display at all.
I only have my category called t-shirts and then I have all the t-shirts in that category. All work well until I turn on the site via Joomla Global Configuration. Turn the site off and login as an administrator from the front end and all work well. Go off line and the public can not see the products.
Is there something different that I need to look at in these new versions of Joomla / Virtumart? I have look at permissions and they all are set correctly. I have looked at Categories, Products, Shoppers and Manufactures to try and see why my products don't display.
Not sure where to go from here and I have to turn the system on Tomorrow night.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks....
Scott
I figured out that my database is messed up. If I create a new Category and put in new products, they display properly.
Does anyone know if there is a index utility to re-index the database in hopes that it would correct the problem?
Thanks...
Scott
I don't know of one, although J2.5 has a database repair facility I doubt if this fixes incorrect entries in components' data.
