Searched the forums but can't find answer for this. Store set up so shopper/users have to register during checkout procedure. So user fills in form eg. below

Email confirmation gets sent out to client as below:

Although once click on link all their registration data they completed previously doesn't show up and is replaced by default entries as below:

Driving me crazy can anyone advise where I am going wrong?

I see a few struggling with this registration issue, I don't think this is VM - it more likely Joomla itself.
I'm just wondering if the user manager might be the issue - in Joomla>>extensions>>manage>>user manager>> turn it on. ( they say in the updates of joomla it got turned off) - I don't suggest turning it off as I had difficulty getting back in myself. just have look.
Hi John. I'm willing to give anything a go as this is frying my brain but unfortunately this wasn't the answer. Everything turned on in there and still same drama. To compound things further when I do run a test and register now I'm getting a 'You must provide at least one recipient email address' error message as well.

Like I said, a few having this issue - We tried with a few othesr last night on another forum - I do think this is joomla.
There is apparently a bug with JUser sessions in Joomla 2.5.3 - maybe it will be fixed in 2.5.4
Try turning off registration confirmation which is a put off to a lot of shoppers anyway.
