I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere but...
Is it possible to make the update buttons use ACL so they only show if you have the correct access level.
Not everybody that has access to add products should have access to update Virtuemart. Especially if there are more steps than just clicking the button. I believe it was the M release where you had to also update the database.
I was able to get rid of the button in H or M using a template override but on the next upgrade the override didn't work anymore as the structure of the files I edited had changed. Plus if you get rid of them in an override you don't know when there is an update.
