Hello community,
I have a multilingual site with Joomla 3.8.12 and Vituemart 3.4.2.
This is an original Joomla + Virtuemart package.

Everything worked well and I can no longer view the customer information page (account maintenance).
I suspected 2 plugins: Offjan Ajax user Login and Virtueplanet VP One page check out.
These plugins are disabled and nothing helps.
I have a page error 500 - bs2-edit layout not found.

Here is the visible message and my site is in debug mode.

What is the bs2-edit, sounds like a custom template file missing.

Talk to Your template designer about this.

I asked the designer of the template and he is convinced that the problem life of Virtuemart.
I put the default Protostar template and I have the same error :(
I also reinstall the latest version of Virtuemart.

I don't see why there is a Bootstrap2 error. First I'd update Joomla to the current version, 3.9.3

If it is some kind of b(oot)s(trap)2-edit, updating or reinstalling Joomla would fix it.

Are You sure that have not named any template file or sublayout bs2-edit, and assigned this to the menu or VM account item ? I think this might take precedence before a global assignment of the template.

Hello.
Thank you all for your follow-up.
No ididn't do anything.

I made an attempt to update Joomla 3.8.12 files to 3.9.3 on my joomla 3.9.3.
So, no way to have my site even in back-end.
I was able to recover a back up and my site works in joomla version 3.9.3 and Virtuemart 3.4
I put the debumode in developpment level and it's visible on

Have you perhaps chosen bootstrap 2 here in configuration templates? Instead of none ?

Good thinking Jörgen - that setting is there only for those testing with Joomla 4

Ther are noting in my market.
I can try to runinstall / reinstall or Reinstall table with the virtuemart configuration panel ?

turn on JOOMLA debug in the Joomla config and then a debug trace should appear

Hi,
i have the solution to fix prob from virtuemart forum fr ;)
This is in the virtuemart config :
To fix it go to VM > Config > Template > Layout Bootstrap version : None (Use Legacy)
