Change font colour under category and headings

Hi
I am using joomla 3.6.2 and my template is Horme3 (free version).  As you know I am new to this and have previously changed the font colour, but for the life of me I cannot remember or find any reference to how I changed it.  I have done a search and come up empty handed and a tad frustrated. I have attached what I am trying to achieve, I know it involves my CSS list... but that is as far as it goes.

nope sorry, just not getting it.  Perhaps my inefficiency in firebug is the problem.  will relook at the tutorial video.  thanks anyway
