Hi everyone,
Really need some help with putting a grey border around each product set in the category view page (http://msharifandsonsfurnishers.co.uk/index.php/dining-rooms) My template automatically creates a line below each row of products but really need a box border around each product (which should incorporate the image picture, title, price, tha "Add to cart" button - which i have managed to code in with the help of you guys!)

I really need it broken down for me i.e. which file to edit, what to change and where to change it #Clueless

I have attached two pics to show- the first is of my site now and the second is how I would like it to look (If possible)

Thanks in advance!
:*

Hi
Thanks for replying.
i'm not sure what I firbug is but will take a look. I created the template myself using artisteer.

Is there not a file I can change within virtuemart to achieve this at all?

opp82

Ok I found a work around. An extension that will display Joomla products in a grid!  ;D

Am I allowed to post the extension link as it may help someone else?

You can post a link to the extension, but the issue would be better solved by simply adding the relevant css and template overrides if necessary. Crapisteer does not produce Joomla standard template css, so often needs extra styles to be added.

Can only echo Jenks - sledgehammer->nut

Have had to work on some artisteer sites and best avoided like the plague - huge overhead in code quantity with divs buried 20 or 30 levels down and css operating on 100's of indivdual ids.. just horrible

Learn a bit of css and start with the Joomla bundled protostar template - responsive and light

Well avoiding Artisteer templates is great for you advanced coders- I unfortunately am not advanced enough to be able to create my own templates from scratch without such programmes. And it would not be viable for me to pay someone else for use of a template. But as I always say there is always a work around and here is the one I found:
