I'm in the process of upgrading Joomla form 1.5.25 to 2.5 using jUpgrade. Everything has gone good so far. My Joomla 2.5 install is currently still living in the jupgrade folder in my root directory. I then installed Virtuemart 2.0.2 and noticed that my database now has my old customer data, products, etc. as "jos" and the latest install of Virtuemart created new "j25" database entries.

My question is this... How do I get my customer data from my "jos" database entries COPIED into my new "j25" database entries?

Have the same problem.
Upgraded with jupgrade fro 1.5 to 2.5, everything seems fine but all the VM data is missing.
Can someone please advice how we can manually transfer the data?

Thank you.

Hi

The next step is to use the automatic migration tool

Copy your product images from the default folder to the new one

/images/stories/virtuemart/product/

Then go to configuration, on the Vm admin, tick Enable database Update tools

Then tools > tools & migrations then migration tab on top right

set to everything

then click start migration as many times untill everything is copied

This grabs the data from your old tables and converts to the new format to the new store vm2.0 tables

I have done this yesterday and works great only bad thing is additional images dont get copied across

hope this helps
