Short Description in Virtuemart Products Module

Joomla 2.5.1 & Virtuemart 2.0.1h

Hi

I am using the Virtuemart Products module to show featured items using the div based layout. I am also using template overrides.
My question is; is there a way to place the short product description into the div for each featured product?
