Switching between languages doesn't reroute to the other language's page

First I'd like to thank the virtuemart team for the good work and say hello to the forums.

I did not find anything about this issue, but I don't think I am the only one having it:

When viewing a product in multilingual mode, switchin from one language to another takes the user to the homepage instead of the other language's product page. ( Each of my products has it's counterpart in the other language.  I know it is possible to associate menu entries in Joomla, but I don't have and want a menu entry for each product.)

Is this a misconfiguration, a bug or just not implemented yet?

I'm using Joomla 2.5.1 and VM 2.0.1d.

This is not implemented yet.  (But at present you can associate the categories).

hi...how soon will be implemented? ...i get categories but it would be nice to switch product page as well...
