How to use lightbox on category images?

Joomla 2.5.11 and VM 2.0.22a

I would like to have it so when clicking on the product image on the category list of product, the image i opened in at lightbox as it is on the product details view.......
As it is now it links to the product details of the product when clicking on the image on the category view.........

Can anyone help?

YES i searched like a mad man 
I think I have spent more than 2 weeks looking for a solution in forums and here and on the web....


Found some threads explaining the opposite of what I need and all threads I have found were for the older versions of VM so the code what completely different from VM 2

I could not find anything with what I need and for VM 2.02


So i still need help

That's good that you saw solutions for older versions.
But it's not so good that you didn't try them.
What threads did you find?

I think you understand what part of code it's necessary to change in your case.
