Baseprice in configuration not checked, but visible in frontend

Hello people at VirtueMart!

I'm testing VirtueMart (version 2.0.0-RC3-Pre-K in combination with Joomla 1.7.3) and did experience the following:
although the baseprice in the configuration-panel is not checked, it is visible in the frontend (see attached image). I did clear cache and had a look in a different browser, which didn't browse that page before aplying the setting in the backend, so I'm pretty shure, it really is a bug. Or did I misunderstood the function of these checkboxes (I'm a newbe to VirtueMart).
I also did have a look at the database (table: jos_virtuemart_configs) - the following entries can be seen here:

No bug!
I found out the reason for this behaviour: I have been logged in as a Super Administrator! When I did log in as a "normal" registered user, the baseprice isn't shown. Sorry for assuming a bug.
Anyway:  I hope this tread explains the reason, why it happens to other people who are wired because of the same situation, I was facing.
