Found this:
$html .= $this->getHtmlRowBE('VMPAYMENT_STANDARD_NAME', $this->getThisPaymentName($_paymethod_id));

Should be changed to something like this?
$html .= $this->getHtmlRowBE('VMPAYMENT_STANDARD_NAME', $this->getThisPaymentName($virtuemart_payment_id));
