Hello everybody.

I have virtuemart 1.9.8.H and Joomla 1.7.1. I have installed everything succesfully and now i see that my € is placed after the amount like this:

4,95 €

I want to have the Currencie in front of the amount like this

€ 4,95

Is there any solution to do this??

tnx for the thinking already

Greets,

Very simple - just go to 'Configuration' - 'Currencies' - type "Euro" in the filter and click on "Go". Select the Euro currency and then exchange the positive and negative format {number} {symbol}.

Hi,

That is the problem with the euro currency. Each country displays it differently.
For example in France we write prices:
10,52 €

But I know that in another euro countries it is displayed differently.
Afaik, only Euro has this problem.

I'm even using four different methods.  ;D

When writing invoices I frequently use EUR 100,00
When price tags are full Euros, I use 100 € or € 100,-
When price tags include cents, I use € 99,75

Hi Jorg,

And where or how do you define all that?

...not in VM2!  ;) I use a nice british DTP software for most of my paperwork. (Excellent software for writing books btw.)
