Removing category images

Hi folks

I have seen several items that tough on the issue or deleting category images but I cannot understand what to do to delete them. Why can't I simply choose not to show them?

Using:

Joomla  2.5.7
PHP 5.2.17
Virtumart 2.0.11

The problrm can be seen on: http://www.crackersforchristmas.com/index.php/component/virtuemart/5/xmascrackers/christmas
The three categories 'Hats, crowns and masks', Truffles and chocolates' and 'Wrapping paper' are all clearly in the way and forcing the products further down the page. Is there anything I can do?

Help me to understand what exactly is forces down?? the login module you have is placed on the footer ... the footer always shows at the end of the page ... you mean something else?

you can do it the way. In backend of virtuemart, select product category, then select category you want remove images. In this category, switch tab image for category remove it.
save and test.
