RSS Feeds - different from 1.x, how do we feed the products per category in 2

I have a Windows Phone app that links to the virtumart products and since i upgraded to vm2 it has not worked, nor can i find anywhere anything to do with RSS feeds of products for each category.

Is this available in vm2 (1.9x) and if so what is the RSS feed format?

The standard joomla RSS is working but it won't feed products, only articles.
