Change Quantity text (PHPSHOP_CART_QUANTITY)

I am trying to change the text next to the quantity box so that different items say different things, depending on perhaps their category.

E.G:
On this product I would want the text next to the quantity to say "Units Required" Rather than "Packs Required" http://www.flooringsales.co.uk/home/woca-oils-&-stains/woca-antique-lye-2.5-litres/436-4928

However on this page I would want it to say "m² Required" http://www.flooringsales.co.uk/home/floor-protection/natural-coir-matting-17mm-1m-width-cut-section/424-5420

I can change the text an all items via the 'english.php' file in' /public/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/languages/common'

I don't know any PHP so don't know how or where to implement an IF function to change the wording.
