Is it possible to get Item customization close to this

Someone was asking me if i could pull of a custom shirt shop that would allow there clients to select different fabrics, buttons, embroidering and what not similar to the one on this site with multiple pages to customize a single product. Up until now I've only done regular shopping carts but something tells me this may be possible, and was looking another more professional opinion than my own.
