Put your shop in debug mode (VirtueMart, not Joomla), and it should give you more info.

Also, did you sign up for web services? Did you input your USPS API credentials?

Hello again,

I'm testing the "vm114-uspsv5.2010.04.05" VM Module and received errors while attempting to checkout...
I can see it separates the order into two packages, but fails when getting rates...
Any suggestions on what to modify or correct...?

Hello,

I'm attempting to test things; however, I read in another thread that I should not connect to the "usps test server"...
http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=46784.msg247629#msg247629

Are we allowed to request connectivity to the production server, even though I would have felt better with a little testing...?

Thanks for any direction,
Jim

Hello again,

I have obtained my "production server" URL from USPS.Com; however, I do not see what I may have done wrong to get this operational...
I'm still receiving errors displayed in debug mode and no shipping costs are available or calculated... debug is displaying similar information as my previous post

Any direction is greatly appreciated,
Jim

Not attempting to be forward, but is anyone monitoring this thread...?

Thank you for your time!

Jim,
Your post went unseen probably because you tacked it on to someone else's.  In the future, start a new post for your issue, unless it is *exactly* the same issue as the original post.  Also, since you're using my particular module and are having issues with it, please use my module's thread to post your issue.  I have alerts turned on for when anyone posts.  It immediately sends me an email.

As for your issue, you're hooked up to the testing API.  You need to change that to the production API URL. I don't have it handy, but if you re-download the module and look in the config, the URL located there should work.
