Sage Payment Module
« on: April 01, 2009, 02:18:11 am »
We are in the process of developing a Sage payment module.  Just getting an idea as to the interest level if we made it commercial.  Thanks.  ;D

Cool.  Our payment module transfers buyers information directly to sage and doesn't require them to have to re-enter their information into the system.  You must have a sage account set-up obviously.

SagePay.com or formally Protx seems to be the UK version of SagePayments.com - U.S. Version.  Whether there is a difference or not I don't know.  You can refer to my initial post for the link to Sage Merchant Account info.

You can download our product from our site at www.JoomlaOhio.com for $25. Sorry we have to make up for dev time and costs.

This product has been thoroughly tested and works great perfectly.

I was considering buying this.

I found it a bit worrying that you are selling a Sage Pay module, but don't give your users customers option to pay with it.

There also seems to be no support forum on your site.

Makes it all seem a bit dodgy, so I decided not to.

So far so good.  The setting up of the module is pretty simple.  The only downside (and I dont think there is anyway around this for sage) is that there isnt real time authorization and the processing is offsite.  Basically, you get taken to a Sage HTTPS site (your user info is transferred over) and you submit your CC info.  Once the cc info is submitted, you have to click a "Continue" button that takes you back to your website.

Like I said though, I think this is all just the nature of Sage.  I'm still in test mode, so if you're able to wait another couple of days I will update you on how things go once the cart is live.
