How do i set up a Banktransfer payment method?

i cant figure out how to set up a payment method
for banktransfer payments?

hopefully somebody know..

If you mean by BACS then use Purchase Order payment system, they make the order and you then email them bank transfer details. Saves publishing your bank account info on-line.

but where do i write some info that they have to
put the ordernumber on the transaction so i know
who has transfered money to me, and where do i write
my account information?

its a wire transfer i mean.. from the customer
to my account.

You could edit the confirmation email sent out to include your bank details. The customer can use the order number as reference.

Perfect, this is a good option.....but how can I edit the email confirmation?.  When the customer choose Purchase Order the mail confirmatopn show the bank detaills.

Thank you jenkinhill, this knew this option , but I want to show the Bank account in the email confirmaion, just when the customer choose BankTransfer.  Is it possible?.

No you cannot select an email text by payment method, although a programmer may be able to set it up for you. Possibly no harm in having bank details (or a link to them) in all emails. Here in the UK it is a legal requirement that the mail must also contain VAT registration number so the email text must already be edited.
