automatic coupons for every new member

i would like to make a coupon that gets mailed out to everyone when they register and just gives them one ten dollar off coupon. so everyone gets 10 dollars off of there first purchase is that possible without making a new coupon for every person and emailing it to them?

If it is a one time use unique coupon the cuirrently they must be individally set up. There are coupon mods which may be able to do this.
