View/Print a complete Price List

Just a few quick questions
1. do i upload using the com installer in joomla. if yes then i keep getting these errors
1a. Upload component - Upload Failed
ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package.
1b. Upload component - Failed
Installation file not found:
/home/xxxxx/public_html/soyrenitycandles/media/install_47cfc1777b4d8/administrator/

2. If i try to use a ftp progam i keep getting "access denied" can i change it to allow access?

This package has not an installare, as it is not a full component, but an add-on for VirtueMart.
You must upload the files contained (respecting folder structure) using FTP. If you can't use FTP, please contact your provider.

Has anyone had any luck displaying the attribute products? The list prints out but it only displays the first one not the different sizes?

Does anybody already have the thumbnail images columb? I am trying to get this to work, but unfortunantly i can't get it to work!

Pisu, can you explaine this to me? Or do you have a download with this feature implemented?

Thank you very much for this great addon, but what about sites with UTF8?! When viewing or printing pricelist, all characters are OK, but when downloading it in .pdf, unknoun charcters appears. My site is in russian language and dtabase encoding is utf8. What to do? Thanks in advance!

Someone else reported problems with characters in PDF.. Sorry but at the moment I really don't know how to solve this. Maybe the EZ PDF library does not support UTF-8? You could try converting text to windows-1252 on-the-fly (using iconv or

Good luck Ikkes, I've been wanting this for months so I can put a button on my site for customers to "Print Catalogue" if they want to - I got to the same point you're at (with the thumb name instead of the image), but nothing further so the button still isn't there and customers still can't print off all of our stock.  And then I lost the file (long story) so I gave up.

Maybe you could post the code you've done, and maybe somebody more PHP-savvy could help us modify what you've done?

Also, a word of advice - bumping posts isn't going to help your cause, it's more likely to get you ignored. :>

The same problem with the PDF creation using UTF-8 romanian charset.
