This must be VM 1.1 + Joomla 1.5 issue, I just installed docman 1.4 breadcrumb works as expected.

Verified. This is an incompatibility bug. Please enter in the tracker.

OK. In SVN (rev. 946), I reworked the pathway handling (both for Joomla's and VirtueMart's). I've tested everything, but it could use another pair of eyes looking at it.

So, please test in the following areas, both in J! 1.5 and J! 1.0.x:

• Account maintenance: and all sub-pages (billing, shipping, orders, etc
• Checkout process: update billing address and update/add shipping address
• Shop.browse: categories (just the Joomla pathway)
• Product details pages: be sure to turn this option on in the template configuration
