After installing the update 1.0.5 "Fixed PHP 7.4 compatibility for Joomla 3 version" our website breaks with the following error. We did not even configured a payment method yet!

Call to undefined method PlgVmPaymentVmMollie::setApplication() /htdocs/plugins/vmpayment/vmmollie/vmmollie.php:88

Since 1.0.5 is supposed to fix an obvious bug that shouldn't have been there in the first place, I am pretty disappointed.
Does anyone test code or code "fixes" at all?
