How does the VM product module works?

Hello, to display products in an article/page, I use the Virtuemart Featured products module. But I have not understood exactly how it works or maybe I can't do what I need to do.

Let's say that I want to display in that page some wines.

I have these products:

- Crisoperla (categories: white wines)
- Redibo (categories: red wines)

Categories: "white wines" and "red wines" are child categories of "Wines".

Now, I want to display into the article/page all wines, both red and white.

On the Virtuemart Featured products module, I select the main category "Wines", but i can't see any wine displayed on the page/article.

You will say: "because both wines, Crisoperla and Redibo are not in category wines, but in category red wines and white wines".

That's ok, but how can I achieve this task and display all wines? I can't assign "Wines" category at both wines because otherwise I have some problems with Seo Url (I get 2 urls per each products, one like wines/red-wines/redibo and another like wines/redibo).

If, for example, category "Red wines" is child of "Wines", Virtuemart should as well display products under "Wines",.... right?

Or, maybe it is impossible to do this task....

Ho provato, ma il problema è che poi mi ritrovo due url:

shop/vini/crisoperla
shop/vini/vinibianchi/crisoperla

era questo quello che volevo evitare...
