This site, (to go live very soon) uses Mambo/PhpShop (was going to use vitruemart) but the PayPal Pro (website payments pro) module was only available for Mambo-PhpShop..

Big thanks to huntersinclair for his PayPal Pro component http://www.zenatdesign.com/payment , well worth the money, if you need PayPal Pro, forget the cofusing PayPal SDK (its bug ridden, and won't work out of the box) , just get huntersinclair paypal pro componenet, works like a charm..

The site features, a fized-wdith design, with moderate customizations to layout and form buttons..

Your site looks delicious! I am seriously craving some Baklava now..

Only thing I noticed is the text overlay on your flash ad (main index page) is a pit pixelated. Looks like the edges were crunched up in photoshop. Other than that, GREAT site.

Nice shop and nice design.

What I find a bit confusing is your menu. Where it says 'shop' it is actually the cart only. And where it says 'contact' it is asking for contact details of the visitor instead of providing contact info of the store. I would recommend to state some infos about the shop owner there. Personally I would not buy in a shop where I do not know whom I am dealing with.

ooops ... sorry, didn't notice that the main menu is clickable .. thought the menu was only the button that pops up. So please disregard the second part of my previous post ...  :D

I just checked the paypay site. This payment service sounds interesting. Do you have already any experiences with them?

When I asked for paypay I just looked at your headline where you wrote paypay not realizing that this was just a spelling error.

While paypal is an approved payment method with all its pros and cons I would not recommend paypay (which is a payment service too). They seem to be dissolved letterbox company only and not so trustworthy at all.

Just thought I would mention it just in case anybody else is checking out paypay as I did ... don't want to talk down your shop which is a nice one ...  ;)

Hello everyone. I'd just purchased zenat's paypal pro module but paypal payment doesnt work right as it redirects the page to paypal right away after selecting the "Checkout with paypal icon" insted it should have ask shipping info and addresses as it is in the demo. The credit card api processing so far is working very good. I contacted zenat support but no response yet its 24 hours passed now. However I've tried  http://www.gfdfoods.com/index.php and paypal payment has issue as well. So it must be in the module or the instruction for installing it. If someone knows a fix it would be very appreciated. :)

Hi,

I have a similiar problem.

I tested the original paypal IPN that came with virtuemart, and it works. Thanks Soeren and crew.

I also created a sandbox account with paypal, creating 2 users, the business and the buyer.

The express checkout and the normal credit card does not seem to work.

1.
- The express checkout manages to direct me to the paypal sandbox page, where i login as the buyer.
- When I confirm the transaction by selecting "review payment" it begins to go crazy and issue a mosuser::store failed. ie. it tries to go back to the website without success.

2. I try the normal credit wpp method and enter in all the required info, and proceed.
- On connection to paypal I get

Quote
Error - Paypal did not complete order - LONGMESSAGE=There's an error with this transaction. Please enter your state in the billing address. - ERRORCODE=10711 -

Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_paypal_pro_dcc)

Error - Paypal did not complete order - LONGMESSAGE=There's an error with this transaction. Please enter your state in the billing address. - ERRORCODE=10711 -

- I do not think I missed anything.
- hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

cheers
Eddie

the website  http://www.gfdfoods.com/index.php is not working when i went to try the zenatdesign PayPal Pro Payments module. Also, all the prices are set to $0.00 so it makes me wonder if this site was ever real to start with or just created to sell the module. Anybody know?

lisa

you may be right.  the prices are still 0
