Invoice PDF 3.6.10 not Overwrite when change fields

Hello,
I use virtuemart 3.6.10 (10211). When i get an paid order, an pdf invoice will be make automatic. But when i change the delivery date and change the name or something else. The pdf is not changing/overwrite. What can i do so that virtuemart overwrite the excisting pdf?

Yes, when i delete in ftp the existing file then it will be change the data. But when the existing file is not removed it not will be change the data.

That's the system.. as I understand it in most jurisdictions an invoice is a legal document that is not supposed to be changed ...
the theory being if you want to change the invoice then a new one should be issued ..
I think this is what happens when u change any product, price etc

I have just update from 3.0.16 to the latest version. In the old version the pdf wil be overwritten when i change the date to delivery. When I change the date to the actually delivery date and I confirm the customer than it has to be the actualy delivery date, not "same a invoice date". Otherwise the deliverydate field is not necessary.

The invoicenumber is still the same.  Some times the customer has made a fault in the adresses or email adresses then i have to change that.
