Problem with "Shipment Addresses" fields

Hi,

I have many issues with "Shipment Addresses" fields.

1) When user do not insert the "Date of birth" field and click on "Confirm Purchase" there's the correct error "Invalid Date of birth" but there's also the error "Invalid phone" even if the phone number has been entered correctly.

2) How can I remove some fields from "Shipment Addresses" tab but NOT in the "Bill To Information" tab?

3) How can also translate some fields in "Shipment Addresses" tab (I tried also with Override but I can't find string constants).

I have these issues in different Virtuemart Version.
