customer_note phone glitch

Hello,
Recently an employee at our company discovered a glitch that causes the word phone and everything that appears after it to be cut. as in if you put telephone you would get teleph. and anything in there that starts with phone would just be ph.
Is this a known issue and is there anything we can do about this?

We're dealing with virtuemart 3.x and JOOMLA version 3.7.2. The issue comes up after the customer note is passed during checkout, as it's on our cart page

You don´t mention Joomla or VM versions, hard to guess what it could be. You also don´t tell us if it happens while writing or after confirming the order.


I can imagine some kind of spelling assist plugin.  It can also be some code in Your custom template that does this.

Which version? Where do you enter the values? in the backend, in the normal user maintenance or in the cart.

Who enteres it, guest, registererd, admin? and do you have this only in the customer_note or also somewhere else

The issue comes up when the data is saved. Everything is fine but the customer note when it is saved.

Either Your VM is outdated ?? You have still not told us which VM version You are using.

You are using a custom template, test  with Protostar.

Maybe You have a plugin that does this for You ??

You are probably the only one experiencing this, hard to tell with this little info.

We're using virtuemart one page checkout from virtueplanet.
And our virtuemart version is 3.2
