Multivariant product ramification Select

VM 3.2.1 // Joomla 3.6.5

While creating a multivariant ramification for custom label first option "please select" shows correctly at frontend,

However for product name if you choose the first option "please select" I get the parent product name instead.


I can simply write "Please select" in the product list and choose that one as first option, that worked for us.
