CSV file import

Hi Folks,

I would really like to use Virtumart and see that they dropped csv file import. I have found a few threads that talk about external software but they are all expensive. It is almost worth buying a shopping cart with it built in. Can anyone suggest a free/cheaper alternate?

I would have thought that csv import would have been a standard option with the software?

CSV import/export was removed from the VirtueMart core many years ago. It was only ever a basic system, and then, as now, the most used CSV extension is CSVI, which is powerful, flexible and reliable, and certainly not expensive for what it does, and there are a couple of others.  Time is money, and the time saving in managing products & orders in large stores is significant.

If you understand databases you can always build your own.
