View Order Button Missing

I am running Joomla 3.5.1 and VM 3.0.14. I am a complete noob with VM and could use some help.

I have everything running fine except for one thing. After being redirected to the thank you page after a paypal payment there is no view your order button. Only the order number is present. The total amount, paypal transaction number and view your order button are missing. If I refresh the page everything is there.

I tried removing the success line in stdresponse.php as suggested in another forum post https://www.rupostel.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1156, but that didn't work.

I would really appreciate any assistance you can lend.

You should be using at least VM3.0.16 with Joomla 3.5.1 unless you have patched shopfunfunctionsf.php - http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=133760.0

Are you using a commercial Joomla/VM template with overrides?

I am using Joomla Nefario without overrides.

Based upon your question about the template, I tried beez2 and atomic. With both of these templates, no products are added to the cart when the add to cart button is clicked.

I also tried another commercial template and the add to cart worked fine, but the view your order button did not.

Those are Joomla 2.x templates - but you said you are using Joomla 3.5.1 where the basic Joomla templates are Beez3 and Protostar.

I upgraded to 3.0.16 with the same result - no view your order button.

then u must still have over rides somewhere or a JS conflict on the page

I should have checked this before, but it works fine in Firefox but not Chrome and Explorer.

make sure caches cleared in both browsers - then check the JS error consoles
