One of my sites got hacked using VirtualMart and a menu alias. They insert random urls advertising their crap all over my site. When I try to update the link it goes back to the hack. I am trying to fix this issue. Can anyone help?

So your Joomla site has been hacked? Just because you use VirtueMart does not mean thet VM was itself hacked. What versions of Joomla/VM? Maybe other extensions, too?

Joomla security help is available on http://forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=714    But before posting there read this:  http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=714&t=757645

Joomla 3.4
Virtual mart 2.2, the latest
PHP 5.6

I hope I didn't imply that it got hacked because of virtual mart. I believe they are using this component too spoof my site and shopping cart check out.

Hmmm..

latest versions are:
J3.5.1
VM3.0.16
If you are hacked the first task is to clean it ...  and often this is very long winded..
