COM_VIRTUEMART_COUNTRY_ROU or ROM ??? CORE DB BUG

Hi Guys,
I was on setting the EU TAx and had some problems to find translated romania.
IN language file it's
COM_VIRTUEMART_COUNTRY_ROU="Romania"
But in the DB the 3 letter country is ROM
So what is right ? COM_VIRTUEMART_COUNTRY_ROU or ROM ?
I check, this is same for vm 3.0.14 and old releases, and can give problem for shipping methods !

AFTER CHECK :
4 site give same  > ROU
see https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#iso:code:3166:RO fo reference, so the DB is BAD !

I think no shop send products to romania ?
This DB bug seems very OLD!
